ED LIGHTING is the spontaneous path that has allowed the creation of GEOMETRIE COLLECTION: an innovative project that combines technology and craftsmanship, born and grown by the four-handed collaboration of the Milan designers Claudio Molinelli (light professional) and Ettore Lariani (architect and designer).
GEOMETRIE COLLECTION is made up of three series of high efficiency LED lighting fixtures composed of an aluminum profile, Plexiglas® diffuser and components in oak with hand-finished or in sintered Nylon in the latest generation of 3D printing.
The handcrafted wood, with its characteristic veins, enhances the uniqueness of the components.
The sintered Nylon, rough to the touch and “material” to the sight, recalls the ancient cast iron castings with tar-like coloring.
A project of “Industrial Craftsmanship”, two seemingly opposing terms that however represent our path. From the concept to the realization of the components that can be reproduced serially by following the typical steps of industrial design, but also by hand finishing, assemblages and attention to details with a Made in Italy craftsmanship.
